Aspen & Slater celebrated their birthdays on February 11th. Aspen turned 3 years old and Slater turned 1 year old on 2/8. They had all of the grandparents in town for their birthdays and lots of friends from Church. Shawn created this short video to celebrate Slater's 1st birthday, as he did for Aspen (click here to see that). Afterwards, Shawn, Katie, Aspen & Slater joined Katie's family in Steamboat Springs for a ski trip over the President's Day weekend. Shawn's parents, Gilbert & Judy, joined Shawn, Katie, Aspen & Slater for a trip up to Northern California. They visited Silicon Valley & San Francisco, and saw lots of great sights. While in Silicon Valley, they visited several of the Technology Company campuses and the Winchester Mystery House. While in San Francisco, they saw many of the sights along the 49-mile drive, with the Golden Gate Bridge as the highlight. Shawn was also able to visit with a friend from Alabama that now lives in San Francisco, Adam Hammons. Finally, the group drove back to Southern California long the PCH through Big Sur.
